(JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.)–The Missouri Corn Growers Association (MCGA) and Missouri Corn Merchandising Council (MCMC) unveiled a new website to meet the evolving online needs of corn growers and consumers.

“Our new website will make it easier to find the latest updates on industry topics and events,” noted Jim Stuever, MCMC chairman and corn grower from Dexter, Mo. “As corn farming has developed and changed over the years, so has our online presence. The Missouri Corn website is a great resource and continually provides valuable information for growers and consumers.”

The new design makes monitoring popular weather forecasts and market reports easier for corn farmers. It also features user-friendly links to Missouri Corn’s social media sites and an updated News & Events tab with media tools for photo, audio and video downloads. The Policy tab helps connect growers with their elected officials and obtain information on issues affecting their farming operation.

The Resources tab provides a convenient stop for consumers looking to learn more about today’s corn industry. It is also where teachers can find out more about the popular Corn in the Classroom program, students can download scholarship applications and visitors can read all Missouri Corn publications.

Adding to the online experience, the site features ethanol resources, staff contact information and an interactive map highlighting the organization’s board of directors. To learn more about Missouri Corn and check out the new site, visit www.mocorn.org.
