Underwater and Overlooked:  Crisis on the Missouri River

Film-Logo.gif

It was a dry spring in the Midwest, yet the Missouri River continued to rise, causing citizens to be underwater for months.  Families lost homes, businesses, farms and livelihoods.  It was a disaster.  But was it a natural one? Did the flood of 2011 have to happen?  The short film Underwater and Overlooked: Crisis on the Missouri River tells the personal stories behind the unprecedented flood and its rampage through towns and lives across Missouri.  You can help.  Ask members in Congress to send a message to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  Make flood control the top priority.
