MISSOURI CORN GROWERS ANNOUNCE
2002 CORN YIELD CONTEST WINNERS

The Missouri Corn Growers Association (MCGA) is pleased to announce the Missouri winners of the 2002 National Corn Yield Contest. MCGA and the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) sponsor the National Corn Yield Contest in Missouri. According to the NCGA, 3,286 farmers from across the nation and 177 farmers from Missouri took part in the 2002 contest. The resulting top yields from farmers who placed first, second and third places in the respective categories of the National Corn Yield Contest ranged from 442 to 215 bushels per acre.
